Music plugin
hay, so i am releasing the music plugin that is used on themoo for you guys to mess around with.
this plugin launch ties in with the launch of perserverance, a theme based on Renovatio.
Here’s howto install the plugin:
-> Put the .dll into your winamp plugins folder and configure it so the submission URL is:
http://yourwebsite/music/index.php
-> Create the /music folder on your server and put the index.php, install.php and .htaccess files in there
-> Run install.php, if nothing comes up - it worked. !!Delete install.php!!
-> Put webplaylist.php into your wordpress plugins folder and activate it in your admin panel.
-> Call the plugin by the function tm_getmusic();
-> You can send a parameter, eg: tm_getmusic(5); to return 5 results.
That’s pretty much it.

does it work with all versions of winamp? im currently running version 5.094 but i cant seem to see the plugin in my winamp plugins list.
I know my brother had the same problems, he couldn’t get it to show up.
I am using 5.08 and it works 100%, i will speak to Dhiren and see if he can shed any light on the matter.

I’ve updated the plugin to remove the ‘Cache songs when offline’ feature for now, because it’s broken and I dont have time to fix it at the moment. The current version is 1.0.0.1
If you’ve experienced problems with winamp hanging/crashing, delete the %winampdir%\webplaylist.dat file, and replace your %winampdir%\plugins\ml_webplaylist.dll with the following:
http://www.dhiren.za.net/files/misc/ml_webplaylist.dll (this will always link to the latest version).
Having some trouble with the plugin. Had it installed and it worked great, but then i made some changes and now i can´t get it to work haha
Have tried almost everything. But it refuses to update the database. O well… I will try some more haxxing.
Looking forward to a new version where the offline feature works!
